align tags center

Align Tags puts a messy group of tags in order. Select the tags, pick a direction and an angle, and the add-on stacks them on one line with even spacing. It gives every tag a free-end leader, so each tag stays joined to its own element.

• Select any number of tags in the active view.
• Choose one of four directions: up-left, up-right, down-left or down-right.
• Set the leader angle with a slider, from 20 to 90 degrees.
• Orders the tags by itself, so the leaders stay parallel and do not cross.
• Reads the spacing from the tag text height, or takes a spacing in millimetres that you type.
• Makes the change in one transaction, so one undo puts the tags back.
• Sits on the First Option ribbon tab, in the Common panel, under the Align menu.
• Works in Revit 2020 to Revit 2026.
