Beams_RCD

Beams_RCD draws the shop drawing annotation for concrete beams. Select the beams in the plan, and the add-on dimensions them. Press Create Sections, and it makes one section view for each beam and dimensions it there too.

• Dimensions the width of every selected beam in the active plan view.
• Dimensions each beam against the grids that cross it.
• Makes one section view across each beam, with a name you choose and a number that counts up.
• Sets the section scale to 1:20 or to 1:25, and sets the detail level to Fine.
• Dimensions the width and the depth of the beam in the section, and the slabs beside it.
• Adds a spot elevation on the top face of the beam and on the top face of the slabs.
• Adds break lines of a family type you choose at the ends of the section.
• You pick the dimension style for the plan and for the section, the spot elevation type and the break line type in the window.
• Works in Revit 2020 to Revit 2026.
